Many things can shape your worldview. There are all these boxes you can put yourself in to. Which is all well and nice, but do any of them shape your worldview? Or is one of them your worldview? Or maybe it is a bit more complex than that. What is a worldview anyway? This is what the dictionary says: worldview: "a particular philosophy of life, or conception of the world"

Personally, I like to see my "worldview" as dynamic. You never stop learning and everytime you

learn something new, your worldview changes just a tiny bit. Or maybe, that's just me. I like to

dabble about a wide variety of subjects, which I have narrowed down to the main topics; 

Science, Philosophy and Society.

 

Now, I'm not a scientist nore a philosopher and some people might even question wether or not

I'm social. That doesn't stop me from having opinions on related topics. I just discuss the topics from my perspective, based on my worldview. And truth be told, I'm not quite sure what my worldview is. Basically this blog is a journey in to finding my own worldview.

I can find elements that are contained in my worldview in every discussion I engage in. There's a bit of hedonism, materialism, humanism, quite a bit of atheism and a lot of egalitarianism. And when continuing on this journey, I'm sure, I'll find a lot more ism's to adopt some elements from. Let's find out, shall we.
